I'm trying to find out how far you can dissassembly a prod before you need to dump the air. A schematic would help but I have not been able to find one yet.

I have a debounce to install as well as some transfer port testing I would like to do.

you can take the top end off without discharging any air to change out the TP, but if your not sure, than dry fire it empty first.
if your gonna install a HDD, I would discharge the air, you dont want to accediently hit the valve with the hammer while installing the HDD, your gonna need to test to make sure it works before you button it up.
