I want to shorten and or modify a Crosman 1399 shoulder stock.
I would really like to see some pics of the ones you guys
have modified to better fit your needs.
Thanks

Like it much better for handling with the 14" barrel as well. By the way that is the Brake I got the other day from you! Thanks, I like the way it sets off the black.
LOP is about 13" - One thing I would do different is to use a better cheek rest and make it permanent, should have done that when it was apart. Still may, not sure, I have a soft foam that would be perrrfect!

Air guns are great!!

great. It matches your trigger and your bolt handle.
How did you shorten your stock? Did you just cut a couple
inches out of each piece and then glue it back together?
When you cut the stock, is it hollow or solid inside?
what kind of glue? and is it holding well?
Thanks

in back of the pistol grip. I just cut it with a coping or hack saw, can't remember. I used a glue that I had for bonding some plastic pieces together and let it sit for a few hours, solid as a rock - it won't break I'm sure. The pic looks as if the trigger is silver but it is the black TKO model, works nice. if a guy was to take much more off he would have to trim the butt down a bit but taking only 2ish inches, didn't really require much fitting. A little sanding and away we went.

Feels much better and works better with the short eye relief of a bugbuster

I removed the end piece and removed some of the frame to reduce the lop to 14", sanded the mating ends smooth and used some of a two part epoxy to re-attach the buttpad: it works like a charm.

Hi Ray,
I found the stock to long and wouldn't fit to the shoulder.
So I cut down the stock and added an aluminium Bisley adjustable butt pad.

My brother in law (metal worker) trimmed the aluminium base and rounded the edges.
I'm trying to find pictures. This custom stock was on another gun a regret selling and I'm in the process of building another carbine.

I'd like to see some pics of that gun if you find them.
I might like that.
Thanks
