it's called Super Lube, Multi purpose synthetic based oil with teflon(PTFE) it comes in a cool little pen applicator for like 5 bucks

Tim at mac1 says modern synthetic oils are the way to go and this totally fits the bill. i think i'll be using this from now on

ive never seen secret sauce so wouldnt know. this stuff is translucent white, sorta cloudy im thinking from the suspended teflon particles

The can reads "dry wax lubricant"

It must be at least 20 years old. Still, it's just the right stuff for some purposes.

I'll take grease over teflon every time

Great stuff, and cheaper than Super Lube.

fish oil might be to dangerous. Attracting sharks and all.

Packaged Whale oil these days is taken from the heads of dolphin IIRC. Good for fine mechanisms, clock works etc. as it's slow to dry, oxidize and gum.
