At Cobra Airguns we have been working on a 10 shot breech and it is near completion.
The Crosman 2240 and the Benjamin Discovery are a couple of our favorites most customers we have like the power of the two airguns but want multi shot. We thought it was long over due. So here is what the 2240 will look like and they are all most ready!!

It took a lot of going back to the drawing board but it will be worth it. It also doubles as a riser breech for a shroud or muzzle break and the free floating barrel help with the accuracy along with a 11mm rail to mount your  scope.

We have a Field Target shoot this Sunday 3/20/11 we will try to have a Benjamin Discovery ready and put it though the test to see how it cycles and we will discuses it performance in the write up for the shoot.

<p align="center">
We know this might seem like an add but it is not
we are just biting at the bit to get peoples reactions please let us know what you think!!

I have a question though. From the picture, it looks like the new breech uses the Marauder/1700P style mounting screws. If so, how does it mount on a 2240 or Discovery?

I am also weighting for the shoe to drop. How much? Do you sell shrouds to go with it?
You should think about a 25cal. kit.

I predict Crosman 22XX afficianados will beat a path to Cobra Airguns door if it truly does become available and sell for a reasonable price. I want one for this pistol which I intend to hunt with as it's tuned for a 10 shot string. This multishot breech will be the perfect addition -

AR
The breech design was based on the Benjamin Marauder and the image is photo shopped but it is very close to what it will look like but slimed down all mounting screws and ports match the Crosman 2240, 13xx and Disco. By changing the block next to the magazine, the magazine, Bolt and barrel you can go from .177-.22-.25 Caliber

We shot the prototype last Saturday and it will be ready for a new test on Wednesday 3/15/11 then we will post new photos and a video. They should be available by the end of the month

The price for the breech alone with mag will be $125.00 and can be easily installed by you

to either side for left or right handed shooters? Also will the bolt style be like a 22xx/13xx (1st photo) or like the Marauder (2nd photo, in the back)?

The bolt handle is like the Crosman 2240
We might make a left handed depends on the demand.

Sure hope they do better on the breech delivery than they do on their shrouds. I've had a shroud on order since the 5th of March and so far I've heard nothing from Cobra Airguns.
