We got the gun last week and soon found that it was great fun to shoot but peppered the target like a shotgun.

So after a major CO2 leaking problem it was in bits, whilst I was in there I thought I would tinker. Here's the current mods, mostly to improve accuracy.

The black spring-loaded assembly (the 'detent body') at the front of the valve drilled out to 4mm, installed an O-ring into the obvious slot on the outside rim the plunger, makeing sure the O-ring didn't bog the plunger- but sealed it somewhat. I need to fit a stronger spring in here also but didn't have anything handy. I'll get that next time.

Stablized the pea tube barrel with polystyrene inside the shroud

Lubed and greased up the trigger

Re-crowned the barrel

Lubed the barrel with Dryslide

A few more bits and pieces to go, but its now shooting tight half inch groups, 632ft per sec at 9 degrees C. 48 shots to a bulb.

1077 are often overloooked (usually for good reason) but sound like your dialled in
