A BAM B50 or a Hamerlli Pneuma? Both are rather decent guns for their price range. In fact, the same price range as that of a Discovery, but far better guns overall. You will need to get a pump seperate, but you can fall under the $500 price point doing so still.

The Discovery is a great starter & learning platform. There are a bunch of folks out there that make parts, tunes and general knowledge to upgrade it to a 30fpe power house, tactical sniper or an uber plinker. Or you could get lucky and score a uesd or refurb M-rod, which is hand pumpable, for ~3 bills in the classifieds.

Basically these are bundled packages. The "Lowcountry Explorer Pack" is a Disco+pump+ammo+scope and some other goodies for $450.
