Andy, I just noticed something a little funny about a fluted comb....

I had posted these photo's on another Forum and noticed something just a little strange... These stocks were built a few years apart. The 'C' model first then the 'Marksman'.. I didn't use one as an example or anything but check out the similarity of the angle and shape of the flutes on these stocks... Greg

I see what you mean. I checked a few of my stocks and found a similar phenomenon...



I likes the flutes.

It's plywood.
Don't have the time, tools or patience to make a stock the "right" way (solid Walnut or other hardwood)! LOL
