Anyone tried an Alchemy red dot? Thing looks like a brick and weight a lot, but thinking it might be tough/durable. Also is 3 moa reticle.

sight for a hand gun.
The Millett SP1 is only 3.5 oz. and quite a bit smaller. Also $20 more.

it might be worth a try..maybe put it on a Phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range.

...(original proprietor of the Yellow Forum). Nice dot, but contrary to advertising at the time, not springer-capable. The optics stand up to recoil, but the intensity control knob (where the battery lives) loosens and eventually falls off. Happened to two (okay - so I'm a slow learner!))

Both are still in service with external homemade electronics -- one with an auto-intensity control circuit.

it might be a decent fit for a 3.72 lb. CO2 carbine
