I was not defending the HiPac no matter how much you wish it so.

I was addressing your claim that the valve retention was inadequate and catastrophic failure would ensue. Such is not the case due to the way the HiPac is installed and sealed.

As to the HiPac..... it is in my opinion a poorly designed hi pressure vessel. Nicely made on the outside...... suspect on the inside......

Please read the link you provided and you will see the discussion is around the valve screw on a 22xx.

you are getting the issues mixed up here. I don't think you understand the HiPac well enough to recomend them either.
