If you have a laser printer, do you use name brand new cartridges or compatible/recycled ones? I will have to buy for my printer (a tiny HP back & white one) sometime soon. At work, we use the compatible/recycled ones (big Lexmark printer, way more expensive than my little HP), and we have soooo much trouble with them. Constant toner spills from where they leak; some cartridges last no more than a day or two before they ahve to replace it and send the defective one back to where they order from. Teh priter itself is a piece of junk, so that doesn't help matters.
I wanted to see what over people used before I bought anyhting. I'd hate to ruin my pritner on it's first cartridge change, LOL!
by owning a laser printer that uses cartridges, I'd say buy the name brand. I'm assuming you're talking about a black-and-white-only, thousands of pages per cartridge, printer? The Staples brand should be fine, but if you're concerned, peace of mind is often worth the cost.
