Anyone do this? I wnated a barbecue sandwich this weekend, but I'm trying to eat out of the freezer/pantry right now. I had put a few hamburger buns in the freezer (GOTTA use a hamburger bun for a barbecue sandwich, LOL!), but of course when it thawed it, it was all freezer burnt.

I'm SO tired of freezer burnt bread! Could I stick the buns on a cookie sheet, freeze and then put in a Foodsaver bag and not squish them???

I sure wish you could buy breads individually like you used to.

my mom can freeze anything forever without freezer burn. Her methodology starts with wax paper followed by two layers of saran followed by at least two layers of foil. My wedding cake was just a touch dry around the edges on our SECOND anniversary!!

I'd say food saver would absolutely work!! (no other way to find out but to try it!)
