I was surprised that due to the topic and the photo on the Yahoo Groups page, the group was not placed in the adult area that limits access to adults. I am not saying that it should be in the adult area, and in fact I think that putting it there would make is seem like a bad thing. I am just surprised that Yahoo allowed in in a generally accessible place.

Don't be surprised if it doesn't get moved. Most groups start out in the "public" section, but if they have anything to do with sex or nudity Yahoo will eventually move them. Happened to every group I ever had there. In fact the first "BFF" was at Yahoo- in the "Women's" section and it quickly became the #1 group in that section and growing every day. Then Yahoo moved it to the unlisted "adult" section and the growth stopped. Then one day it just totally disappeared. I never could get any explanation from Yahoo. I would never have a forum there again.

Lets make a goal for Summer 2004 to get all 50 states started along these lines...

Regardless of where the forum is "homed". Lets get forums started for all 50 of the states NOT just OHIO!!!

Naples FL has a similar group on Yahoo for those who are interested.

That means that we now have only 48 states more to go!

BTW: this is a WOMAN only group.

No men are being allowed to join. :(

I attempted to join primarily to cross post from this forum to this Yahoo forum but its a woman only forum and no men are being accepted for membership.

This probally is a good thing but I don't have to like it, or do I???

Well, I hope that it works out well. Maybe one day, we'll have some equality and then we can have an open forum.

I can understand why it would be women-only.
They are just trying to get women comfortable with the idea, then once they feel comfortable with not wearing a top while sunning, they can do the same thing at home or at the beach.

I don't recommend exposing skin to the sun, but it is about being able to do what men can do.

I dunno, they probably got some complant from somebody about the site or something and Yahoo being "good natured" n all probably moved it just so they wouldnt get any flack for it. it seems that anything having to do with sex or nudity that anyone complains about has to be gotten rid of or changed even if its just one person who complains. I would really like to see a website or any other place with things that deal with topfreedom or nudity to tell everybody who has a complant about it to get a life and stop wasting their time, I mean I know they are worried about having people visit and all but if all people are going to do is bitch about seeing breasts then they areint worth having there in the first place.

The problem now days is the line that separates freedom and porn has no common ground. From one person to another is miles apart. Mike is a extremest one way, and some people are just as extreme the other way. There is no commond ground. I guess that is why this is suppose to be a free country.
