Mayday

The Vindicator
the number one first thing any boater learns and knows is if there is an emergency you "mayday" on channel 16. when RJ maydayed at 1:30 he received immediate response on the radio and a search boat at his boat in 15 minutes. why didn't the Wayne's mayday? if they did natalie wood would be alive today. this only supports that the wayne tale is BS.

KitKat
Because the Waynes and the Payne had gone back to sleep.

Yeah when they heard the cries for help stop then they fell asleep, so they say and the next morning? what's up with that, they could'nt go over to the scene and tell them what they heard the night before? they waited 3 days to tell their tale? come on! that's why the reinvestigation is shelved.

you people are idiots. wagner purposely did NOT mayday a call. He called on a frequency where the proper rescue teams would NOT hear him. he didn't want his wife found, after postposning his 'maydey' (lol) for over 2 hrs. to give her time to DIE.
it was the wayne party that DID mayday, all the way into Avalon.
once again, you idiots who dwell here know nothing

How do you explain to a person who writes this crap that Wayne didn't call for help? If Wayne had called for help for a drowning person, there would have been a response. These people don't get it.

"These people don't get it."
No, we get it. we're just bored with the whole thing.
There aren't any arguments left to argue over. The woman was murdered 31 years ago, wagner got away with it.
It is what it is.
Time for a new obsession.

Wayne did not mayday they claimed to have called the harbor patrol for a helicopter but in her own words " no one answered". Wagner was not on a special channel there is no special channel, the marine channel for help is 16 he received immediate response and a search boat in 15 minutes. The next morning did the Wayne's not hear the helicopters? did they not see the many boats surrounding the Splendour? they were 60 foot away sure they did and then high tailed it out of there why? they heard a woman screaming for help and did nothing and then 3 days later wanted their 15 minutes of fame, so they say. It's all BS

Wagner did not do a Mayday call. He made a random radio call. A Mayday call would have gone directly to the Coast Guard station. Wagner wanted to avoid that at all costs. He wanted the search kept low key. There was no Mayday call from Wagner.

Wagner made the call. Not Dennis Davern and not Marilyn Wayne. Robert Wagner made the call when he saw that his wife and the dinghy were missing. Perfectly logical for him to do what he did.
