This site is dedicated to a eighteen year old who died from a massive drug overdose 30 odd years ago.
She isn't coming back and from some of the entries posted on this site praise her lifestyle and I know she was just a kid but she was also a junkie who overdosed.
I guess the people on here live boring lives and have nothing better to do than this.

i haven't seen any postings praising anissa's drug use. ive seen posts that have sympathy for her and posts that trash her, but iv'e seen no posts praising her drug use.

junkie is slang for a person addicted to heroin who injects heroin into her veins, anissa never used heroin and she never injected any drugs into her veins. from what i've learned anissa was a casual marijuana and alcohol user until she reached her eighteenth birthday and came into her money, at which point she went off a cliff and the last five months of her life were filled with heavy drug use.

boredom is a subjective thing, i happen to find watching 14 hours of sports on TV every weekend as boring as it can get, knowing every baseball statistic of the last hundred years is boring to me too, but i know plenty of people who find it exciting, wish i could share their excitement.

anissa is special to me dude, really special, i grew up with her on tv, i never met her but she feels like family to me. i know she hated acting, and she hated the character of buffy, and she was miserable all those years, but i look at her in an episode of family affair and i melt. and then i find out all the sadness and misery she went through in real life and it tears at my heart. after she left family affair she vanished, it was like she never existed, back then there was no internet, no cable, no entertainment tonight, and then 5 years go by and boom, "anissa jones the actress who played the character of buffy on family affair has been found dead of a drug overdose in a california beach house an apparent suicide", and that was it, thats all i knew until the internet, her death haunted me for 30 years. to anybody who grew up with her it was absolutely shocking, unless you knew her personally, no one had a clue what had become of her, or what her real life was like.

so this website for me is like a little shrine, like the shrines some asians keep for their dearly departed, with their pictures, and incense burning. when i come here anissa is no longer a solitary memory in my solitary mind, she comes back to life a little more because others think of her too, and some who actually knew her post memories of her.

and by the way, i think she was a damn good actress too, there are many moments where she delivers her lines with such understated irony and nonchalance, that i ask myself did she have enough knowingness at that age to deliver the words that way, or was it by accident, but she delivers lines with such understated irony so often that i conclude she must have been doing it knowingly. compare her to johnny whitaker's simple, overearnest, literal delivery. or maybe it was simply that she didnt care to be there acting and delivering lines, so the lack of enthusiasm gave her delivery the same effect as understated irony?

I think New York Fan should be escorted to the private forum, simply too good for this squalid back alleyway of a forum.

you can't.. apparently. it's been written that it's a locked forum that is deemed unlockable. ended up being locked because a completely innocent person was blamed for a xmas attack years ago.

thanks for telling me. it does seem strange though, the attackers, the haters. my best guess is that whoever hates anissa or wishes to trash her must be indiviuals who actually knew her, who had something to do with her in real life, someone who has a dog in the fight. anyone who actually grew up with anissa on tv, and suffered the heartbreaking news of her death, is now at least 40, probably older, and why would somebody over 40, who remembers anissa, and cares enough to post, who never knew anissa, attack her?

do NOT lump Butt Outt in with the Anissa haters, because Anissa and Butt, when they were together, side by side, were like Yin & Yang, same height, same ethnicity, difficult personalities, etc. Butt is fiercely protective and tried valiantly to stop the muck and filth being applied to Anissa posthumously, and it was a very honorable thing to do.. a loyal friend is that Butt.. and always honest too. When Butt was angry, it was usually in response to fictional stories of Anissa. she won't take crap dished up and cop it sweet, she'll go all Exorcist the Heretic instead. long live Butt Outt, that precious pint size Yin to Anissa's Yang. hip hip hooray. hip hip hooray. hip hip hooray.

I would not be afraid of meeting her in person one bit. I'd put her over my knee and give her a spanking probably. The great thing about Butt Outt when she talks is that she does not pronounce the letter 'R' and it's quite amusing. She'll be about 54 this year but looks like she is in her thirties! only other one from the whole PDR gang who looks a good twenty years younger than what she is would have to be the very sexy C***y T*****o.
