LOOK!!!! I TAKE THIS TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION FROM A SHOP IN EUROPE. IS THE LAST COLLECTION OF NUBEO AND WILL BE ON THE MARKET IN SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER. I LIKE IT!!!!!.

Thousands of years ago, an ancient civilisation discovered a material to which they attributed magical properties. This material was obtained thanks to the mixture of the sap of two plants: the Hevea brasiliensis and the Impomea alba. Such was the elasticity and waterproof properties of the objects created with this raw material that they began to think that these objects were enchanted by malignant spirits.

As the legend goes, almost at the beginning of the creation of life on our planet, a small medusa came in contact with these two organic substances. The causes are not well known, but the sap of these two plants reached the depths of our oceans. These saps began to interact rapidly with the medusa, causing a transformation in it that according to the hypothesis must not have lasted more than three weeks. Once the mutation was finalised, some large black tentacles appeared to the medusa and part of its head was covered with this substance. The organism acquired supernatural powers. Its elasticity, speed and resistance were such that its predators were not able to catch it.

Inspired by the legend, 4D (Nubeo design department) has attempted to recreate in a new watch the mysterious mutation between the medusa and the magical material. For it they have used steel and rubber, a material that could approach the properties of the abovementioned ancient material.

Two fundamental elements of the timepiece create the essence of the black jellyfish. These elements are the bezel and the strap. In them, we have merged two materials of conflicting natures as if they were one.
The body of the bezel is made of stainless steel that in a second process is covered with rubber. In the upper part of the bezel are inlaid the twelve numbers of the hours. These numbers are large and their top part respects the spherical shape of the bezel, being slightly lower in order to protect them from bumps and scratches. For the elaboration of this piece it was necessary to develop a new technology in the process of rubber injection that up to now had not been possible in the manufacturing of bezels of this type.
The rubber strap has a characteristic that makes it very special. It has inserted stainless steel links in the central part that are completely fixed to the rubber strap. In this way the strap does not lose its flexibility and comfort of conventional straps. The links have some interior tabs that permit maximum flexibility of the rubber and in turn permit the links to go along with the movement or torsion of the strap itself. Situated on the side of the rubber strap, are the screws that serve in assembling these links. These screws are the same, that are used in the case back and in order to unblock them, a special tool is needed. Both the numbers of the bezel and the links of the strap have a brushed matte finish.

A couple of months ago, our research centre was able to capture some images of an organism that moved very rapidly. After analysing the pictures, its description could coincide with the medusa of the ancient legend. If anyone knows the existence of this organism or can contribute any information or graphic document, do not hesitate to send it to the following address:

Black jellyfish? Never seen one before.
Wouldn't take the watch to a seadive - you think the floke of jellyfish wouldn't recognise it?

Jokes aside - it's quite an innovation.

Any idea what the price is going to be in U.S. dollars. Also other specs like case size, length of strap, I have a big wrist and need at least 125/80.
