......... >>> and interesting in the same time. My father used to have a "Prim" watch, I remember wearing it as a teenager on ocassions. Buut his watch had a cream coloured dial with gold hands and the seconds the same: at 6 o`clock. I bet it was the same 17 jewel movement. He told me that he got that watch when he started working, out of his 1st paychecque. Half of his paycheque went on it ... aproximately 200 Lei back in 1960`s. And that was a lot a cash back then.

... this one was also from the 1960s and paid for with lei (leu/lei meaning lion/lions in Romanian - also the name of the current national currency).

According to the dial mine is the 'older model' - caliber 50 with just 15 jewels, while the 'newer' models were probably caliber 66 with 17 jewels:
