I've never heard of a series that lasted 24 seasons

........... "24" was a TV series that lasted 8 seasons. Unfortunatly! It was one of the best so far. But the last 2-3 seasons they seem to start running out of ideas. In the end, they decided to stop the series before the ratings would drop. I have all seasons on DVD.

The series "24" was supposed to cover a 24 hour period event.. Each episode was to cover 1 hour of the 24 hours.. Now that should add up to 24 hours of viewing.. Thian, you only watched 10 hours for the whole of season one, or you only watched the first 10 hours?

If you watched the whole season one in 10 hours then there must have been 14 hours of advertising during its showing on TV..

there were 12 discs in the first season collection. The last one has only the one final Palmer resolution. Each episode actually runs for around 45 mins...due to commercial breaks which are edited out but still takes some seconds hahaha!

Actually the day before, we sat watching the first episodes and that was 6 hours? I forget! so I took liberties in detailing exactly how long the whole first set took to watch. The wife put the new next espisode on at 7am and I sat the whole day watching and eating and drinking, finishing up at around 5pm...! Like eating chips or peanuts, can't stop once you start!.......Rene and Leslies know ! )))

................ >>> each episode runs for about 45 or 47 minutes. The remaining minutes were left for comercial breaks. If you calculate, on the DVD, running one complete season non-stop, would take about 18 hours.
