might stand for Bulova. The right side numbers seem to suggest the rotor engraved serial "....but mine shows 1373.50 on the rotor...and on the dial it says 1373.11......

Furthermore, the inside my caseback shows the black initials of a watchmaker? so....mine possibly could have been inspected ? by a watchmaker....

Some dials I found of the Super Seville had NO text at all at the 6 spot!!!

yes.. I kinda suspected the BVA may have stood for Bulova but the #s dont make much sense!
When I first saw the black markings on the inside of your case back I immediately thought that the watch had been serviced at one time or other making me wonder about it possibly be NOS or not!
Another thing is jewel count..... I, like you assumed it was a 25 jewel.

"AUTOMATIC" & serial numbers are at 6 o'clock.

So the BVA could stand for automatic?

here is the link to that post....look at the top SPECS given!  17J...etc! same dial text etc...

Mmmmmmm????? makes sense to me!
How's the fluidity/smoothness of the sweep hand?
I'm thinking that with the higher then norm beat it would be pretty darn smooth!

I noticed on the Big Ben site the Seville he has has NO signed crown and he states mm thickness to be 10mm??
I think the 10mm is not correct as every other site has them listed clearly as 12mm thick!

prices for these little gems are all over the place.
Seems too as if this particular watch is a nice collectors item! NOT rare but quite popular!

Did you happen to notice the lack of a signed crown from the one Big Ben has?

well, looking at the dial from about 14 inches, the hand sweeps quite nicely...as you come closer and stick the watch in your face hehehe...you can detect the ever slight interveals.....

Now, my Bond Omega is 42mm wide and 28,800...and the seconds hand sweeps fine haha! But one must remember....the larger the dial and length of hands, the more exaggerated are the seconds hand! IMO.....
