The other issue is that on N54, it always posts the reply as a new thread

Still a few bugs to work out but then again, it is still beta software.

and for me, one browser did not preview, so I had to know that and just hit save...
I got fed up with all that and now Ubuntu peforms so well for my needs...

I'm using it on other forums and it works as expected.
Just waiting until my favourite extensions are updated to work with it...side bar, fire gestures, etc.

they are continuously making changes and upgrades so maybe that's why you might have had problems.

So far, it's only N54 that FF4 has any issues with. FF3 is fine.

I sense that perhaps you don't understand that Ubuntu isn't a browser; it's an operating system. As such you can't surf the Internet with it.
An Operating System(OS) is simply a big computer program that provides a base for everything else to run from.

A browser is just a smaller program that can be launched from an OS. So no matter which OS your computer is running; you need a browser to surf the net; like IE, Maxthon, FF, Opera, etc.

So which browser are you using from Ubuntu?

they are all pre-releases of 4.0. They work fine and I'm seing some of the improvements from 4.0 appearing already

We'll get that youngster sorted out soon enough
