Gotta do this now or poor Les is going to have a rough day at work tomorrow ;>)

This is the last piece that was in that big pizza box that Rocco sent me...

Brand spanking new with nary a scratch or swirl on it!

This is my first 'new' Orient and I have to say that I am quite impressed with it. The fit and finish on this watch is excellent!
Until you have one of these in your hands, you cannot appreciate how really great they look.

This is a big watch by my standards at 42mm sans crown(s) but sits quite nicely on my 6.75" wrist. I think this is mostly due to the angle of the lug ends and the end links which aim the bracelet downward from the watch instead of outward.

Add all these pieces together and you have to know what a great guy Rocco really is!

I hope I haven't embarrassed him but his generosity cannot go unnoticed and unacclaimed

...."Medium sized deep-dish pizza box".

Pete, just in case you haven't noticed, the crystal of the Orient is acrylic....It gets hurt very easily.

Hope you've had a great weekend!

Rocco.

and it just happens that acrylic is my preferred crystal material!

I'm not hard on watches and acrylic is so easy to refinish...especially when you have a super polishing kit

Thanks again; you are one of the best dude

Oh, and the week end has been exceptional. I got so much done that has been sitting on the back burner for far too long.
Still not all caught up but I feel like I accomplished a lot
