only Asians would love it! haha! We don't see this rich gold color much except in Indian jewelry, some Italian jewelry etc...

initiated legal action against Ricoh for watches like this. but for some reason they never went after any of the many Swiss companies also copying the various Oyster styles. The reason for targeting Ricoh may have been that they were so readily available in Hong Kong and other places where counterfeiting was rife. I have seen actual examples of 1960s/70s Fauxlexes made by doctoring Ricohs.

My mother had a set of 22K gold bracelets she got in Singapore in the 60s and they have the most beautiful colour to them. They look just like those 99.99% pure gold ingots you can buy

and eventually stopped making watches, as it could not compete with Seiko, Wikipedia said.
