Each wheel has a motor propelling it....Those companies are investing tons in electric power models, so it is interesting to see how much HP can be generated from battery powered vehicles. (I'll still take the 350/370Z!)

As fast as a Ferrari due to no clutch or Gears.
Nissans Leaf due out does 0-60 in a ridiculous 3.9seconds....Now thats Supercar Quick.Shame it only does 100miles per charge.

The drifting fraternity will probably hate them..

As for me, I can't wait for a decent electric car with good range.. I currently drive the Gen 2 Prius (sedan) and it is great to drive and really quiet too.. But my students keep telling me to get a 'real' car..

could not hear the motor coming...Japanese rely on hearing of rear approaching cars, they don't turn to look!....and complained .....so the company, to please them, had their engineers install a fake sounding motor noise!!!!!! Talk about Japanese companies being sensitive to their clients!!!!  (like camera companies installing fake clicking sounds in digital cameras! haha!)
