Hello all I am new to this site. I have been diagnosed with high fsh (15) and on Fri did my first insemination. Hoping it works. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Good luck with your IUI. An FSH of 15 is not that high; age is the more important determinant of success in this game. Did you do stims for your IUI? How many follies did you have?

We are all high FSHers, some with a baby/child conceived after being dx with high FSH, others who conceived before they even heard about FSH. Anyway, lots of good support and advice for whatever you are going through.

I am 34 years old. Tues b4 IUI, I had 2 lg follicles and 1 baby, the next day we had 8 follicles. The day of the IUI, the dr. told me we had at minimum 2-3 mature eggs maybe more. Hopeful, but afraid to hope to much.

Wishing you good vibes for a ++++++ soon!

An fsh of 15 is really not that high, so I think you have a very good chance!

Oh, to be 34 again!! That's a good number of follies too, so I think things are looking decent. I guess the one piece of advice, having been on these boards for a while, is don't spend too much time trying IUIs; make sure you jump to IVF while you are still young enough to have a shot at it. I'm trying it now and it is very hard as I produce so few follies and they are probably not very good eggs anyway.

Take care,
Kiwichick
