Hello everyone! I don't know if many of you remember me (i'm an 'ol'timer' on these boards) but i've struggled w/high fsh for the past couple of years now. Did an IVF cycle w/SIRM & got pg. DD was born 10/06. Breastfed her for a couple of months & stopped to start ovulating again. I want to try right away for #2 as i'm sure i only have a small window left (if any at all).

So i got AF about a month after i stopped breastfeeding. DH & I bd'd as much as possible during ovulation so we'll see what happens! During my c-section i asked the dr to look around & remove any endo he could see (was diagnosed w/StageIV endo) & he said all looked fine! The pregnancy must have calmed things down! So that's why i wanted to start ASAP trying naturally. I'll give it a few months & if no luck, will go back for IVF again.

I have to start acupuncture back up & start taking my supplements again. I kind of 'fell off the wagon' after i delivered DD.

I so hope & pray it works naturally for me this time. I was on shots during the whole pregnancy so it would be nice to give my hips, thighs & butt a break for a bit! LOL But hey, i'll take it any way i can!

So hope it's ok if i join you all~~~

Kimberle - Although i've got a few years on you, our stories are very similar. My miracle DS was born in sept 05 and i started ttc again when he was 6 mos. I went the natural route for about 6 months then started in with testing, etc... now i'm in the middle of ivf#2 (going for transfer tomorrow!). You will definitely have a lot of like-minded company on this board -

I hope that your stay here is VERY short!!!

TTC #2 10 months, lots of acu, herbs, supplements & BD - lots of BFN's so far
IVF #1 - 1 follie - went to ER but egg was bad (clomid + 150 menopur)

and congrats on your DD. I think you are very wise to start ttc #2 so soon after giving birth. I wish I would have done that. I concieved my DS so easily at 37 that I never thought I would have a problem getting a second so waited till DS was 11 months to start again and here I am 2 years later with no luck. I keep wondering if things would not have been different if I had started sooner.

Anyway, you are supposedly very fertile after giving birth and the fact that your endo is all cleared up - I would think your chances are high. Hope you get lucky soon.

but as we all know when dealing w/IF, there's no guarantee either way so don't be so hard on yourself...11mths is not long at all! A lot of people say to wait well over a year before beginning to try!!!

Wishing you the best of luck!!

Good move starting ttc again. And that's really great news your endo is at bay.

I also weaned DD at 6 months so we could ttc again ASAP. Two years, 2 IUIs, 5 IVFs, and 4 chem pgs later, I am on a beta rollercoaster hoping this is not yet another decoy! My one regret was not finding a decent acupuncturist earlier. I wish I'd started about 3 months post partum so I'd had a head start by the time we started ttc. It ended up taking me a full year before my 'Chinese kidneys' got to a decent level of health. It sucks being over 40 with high FSH!! Here's hoping you don't have to deal with that double whammy until you are ttc#3!

Can you post a pic of your little one?

Hi there.
Are you the same person that went through hell with one of your IVFs with somewhere in North Jersey? )I think it was the rude nurses?). But anyway, congrats and I applaud you for trying so soon.

I just joined this board too last week- my DS is almost 11 months and I got pregnant naturally at 6 months (while breastfeeding) and miscarried at 8wks.

I am still breastfeeding (and struggling with stopping) but I really want #2 and I would love it if it happened naturally again. We also won't wait too long before going back to IVF.

I just wanted to say hey and welcome.
Here's to #2!

Hi Kiwi!

I haven't gone back to acupuncture yet, i have to do that ASAP! I actually got AF yesterday so now i'm starting all my supplements again. Going organic, super greens, etc....i'm also going to use an OPK this month to see if it helps (not overly optimistic though!)

Wishing you much success w/this pregnancy!!!!
