I hope not to break any rules posting this but I guess that it seems pretty official release in QP magazine (see below)

I reckon this will please a lot of people, a 45mm 1940 case, 12, 3, 6, 9 plus seconds, automatic (with micro-rotor) p.4000 movement

It was not introduced in the SIHH so maybe it was destined for the HK fair in september, who knows.

price level 8,900 for the steel version and 23,100 for the oro rosso one.

I for one am really looking forward to trying it on.

nice actually...

Love the micro rotor...Don't have to worry about unscrewing and screwing the crown after every wind...

I am looking forward to see it in the metal too...

Thanks for sharing...

Cheers.

Nice size and if the case isn't too thick it will be another great option for a dressier Panerai.

...but why did they have to slap "Automatic" on the dial... :'(

Otherwise... this P.4000 movement is quite a departure from the P.9000 - looking forward to reading more on this puppy

I hate to nitpick, love the 45mm 1940, but prefer manual w/no date or auto w/date [nt]

Love the size but dial is busy and prefer the manual. Nice offering though.
