If it sits well, then that's all you need. Your wrist isn't too different from mine. Here I am:

...and I ended up selling my 372 after having it for only a few weeks. The new 47mm size combined with the fact that I got the call from the boutique only 2 weeks after I picked up my 390 just made me not feel right about it. (about $10k more than I planned on spending on watches that month) I've never regretted selling a watch more or missed one that much in my entire life.

I ended up taking my time and buying it back when I was ready and have never been happier! My wrists are 6.25 inches and it's very comfortable for me now. Yes it's bold...in a very good way!

It's NOT just how it fits on your wrist. There is no technical specification for it, or if there is we sure don't care about it

If you are self conscious wearing it that is an issue.

It really depends on the person, overall size, attitude, and many other factors not shown in your pictures.

That said, if you love it wear it!

If you don't like how it looks all the opinions in the world amount to exactly what they are: Nothing.

Like Craig said, it's not really about the watch, your wrist or how it actually looks on your wrist. It's about YOU and whether or not you have the moxie and style to pull off wearing a big watch. If you do, you do. If you don't, you don't.

I have found that I never get comfortable unless I am in love with the size from the first time I put it on.

Other things grow on me or I tire of the them but that always holds true for me.

Does not mean it does not look good just means you will always be a little uncomfortable and you should be staring at your wrist in awe not vice versa.

I actually had dinner with two other ristis the night after I sold it and they felt buying too many watches too fast may have affected the way I felt about the piece. It turns out they were right. I let things settle a bit and listened to my feeling about the 372 BEFORE the decision was made to buy it. The last time I needed to make a quick decision based on a phone call I wasn't expecting to get. They weren't pressuring me at all but if I'm honest, I shouldn't have made the decision that way.

It's all water under the bridge now. The 372 is certainly my "A" piece!

It doesn't look huge, but it does seem to be out of proportion on your wrist.

Now that I've said that, YOU have to be the one to judge, to love it, or decide it's not for you.

47mm is the DNA of Panerai. It doesn't matter what the goofballs who don't understand it think. Your opinion is all that mattrs!!!

With that said, it looks frickin awesome on ya! Rock that thing with pride, and take Peter Frueling's advice.

KEEP IT!
