We could call it Grandpaneristi or Grandpa-neristi.
Paddy, you'd be the founder member.
Any other grandfathers out there care to join us?

I (we) have 2 grandsons, one a soph in college, the other enlisting in Navy soon. And.. a step-grandson, West Point grad and Ranger, deploying for Afghan. in 2 weeks which is his second deployment overseas. Step-granddaughter just delivered lovely baby girl over the weekend in CO., making me (us) great grandparents for the first time. Our twins are past making babies, so may have more greats coming.

Time to hit the sack as tomorrow will be in office. I am now 2 months away from 81 now; anybody ahead of me or can I still claim title of oldest Paneristi?

Don't think we've heard from you for quite a while.
I suspect you're the oldest Paneristi by a country mile - at 68, I was wondering if I was getting anywhere close, but you've nailed it, I reckon.
I think Jim Crue is also ahead of me, but behind you. (Jim, is that right?)
Congratulations on becoming great-grandparents!
Sincerely hope your grandsons come through their deployments with no problems.
