First off, I'd like to thank Paneristi.com for existing, and also for the awesome job that the mods do, and for the contribution that the forum members provide. This place is like a second home for me. And of course a big mahalos to Panerai for creating such awesome timepieces- watches that are able to bring people from all over the world together. =)

Next, I'd like to thank Action Dan for choosing me... It's an honor to do this... I hope it comes out OK...

Living on an island, there are only so many folks living here, and
most of us are friends or related in some way or the other. Sometimes
though, visitors also get stranded here!

We try to get their minds off being stuck with some simple friendship
and consoling... Teach them the laws of the land.

We involve them in the old tribal ritual of the "GeeToGee"...
Pronounced "Ka'mana'wana'make'ya'party"... =)

One night, this motley crew was talking over drinks... It was time to

Well, it all started with a LONG canoe paddle to get from one long lost island

When that didn't work... We figured the best way to make it out was to
try to make it over the waves with our boards...

Just a simple one...

I nearly lost absolutely everything 8 years ago because of unfortunate and
self-inflicted circumstances, being out of a job for a year and a
half, while having a wife that supported me through all times
challenging- this included finances and mental/moral support. Didn't
have a car for a year, and we were literally broke and about to lose the house...
I just learned that its ok to fall, but don't feel sorry for yourself...
Do something clever to fix it, and do it with the utmost PASSION.

A monster mixed plate lunch... Kalbi, Garlic Chicken, Kim Chee Fried
Rice, mac salad, a beer, and a monster cup of ice water. Maybe some

Sunday I will announce the person. You will post your script on Monday with all the blanks filled in. From any replies, you then pick out of personal choice who you would like to read about. Your choice. Then, keep the ball rolling . The recipient picks. One a week, every Monday. Lets see whats in your mind. "

Enjoyed reading your memory and what you learned, bro.

Also like Sultans of Swing.

BTW, don't choose the next DID at random. Choose someone whom you think will do the honour justice.

Best wishes, as always.

Lots of favorites, but here's one that pops into mind...

Dreamworks and Paramount, "Kung-Fu Panda"... LOL... I know, I
know... But I've got kids, and it's just a great story about achieving your dreams...

1 meal

A monster mixed plate lunch... Kalbi, Garlic Chicken, Kim Chee Fried
Rice, mac salad, a beer, and a monster cup of ice water. Maybe some
plantation iced tea...

Just post your name underneath. Prepare your script. Do not post it. I will randomly pick someone.
Sunday I will announce the person. You will post your script on Monday with all the blanks filled in. From any replies, you then pick out of personal choice who you would like to read about. Your choice. Then, keep the ball rolling . The recipient picks. One a week, every Monday. Lets see whats in your mind. "

It was time to
try to leave.

*
*
Well, it all started with a LONG canoe paddle to get from one long lost island
to another... Both Jim's, Palani, Bernie, Tom, David and myself were in it to win it. I believe Bernie is the 3rd one from the back? =)

When that didn't work... We figured the best way to make it out was to
try to make it over the waves with our boards...

Well, that didn't work out well at all. But it was fun trying... =)

And of course... A BBQ 360... Maybe I'd borrow a good friend's once
in awhile =)... If I get passed up, I'm not worried... I'm just
happy to be a part of this great community. The friends I've made
here are what it's all about. =))

Sometimes they are able to convert some of us... =(

One night, this motley crew was talking over drinks... It was time to
try to leave.

*
*
Well, it all started with a LONG canoe paddle to get from one long lost island
to another... Both Jim's, Palani, Bernie, Tom, David and myself were in it to win it. I believe Bernie is the 3rd one from the back? =)

*
*

When that didn't work... We figured the best way to make it out was to
try to make it over the waves with our boards...

And without our boards... =(

Well, that didn't work out well at all. But it was fun trying... =)

Well, at least the scenery isn't too bad here...

And of course... A BBQ 360... Maybe I'd borrow a good friend's once
in awhile =)... If I get passed up, I'm not worried... I'm just
happy to be a part of this great community. The friends I've made
here are what it's all about. =))

Always one of my favorite additions to the site. Loved your story. Great friends and great family! I'm a Sultans of Swing fan too -- very cool vibe.
