Lets go now ! Where the hand of man has never set foot

They gave me those tickets for a space cruise as a retirement gift after 15 years of service as a Lieutenant at Starfleet Command (NB : that montage was made at the Universal Studio CityWalk in August 26, 1993. I was 31 I look 16

So up I went on that brand new space ship of them, fresh from the factory

The accommodations were ok

But check out the crew aboard this vessel Mama mia!

Hey you guys! You're not from that show... Oooookey... You can stay!

Suddenly a repeating and annoying sound went on

Ooooh! Little moving stars coming our way! So beeeeautiful!

Darn!! Photonic Torpedoes! ...Look Ma! no hands!!

... So off I went on the escape pod!

Well this place aint so bad...

Lets get this party started!

2 Songs
Totally different artists, but very close in the intensity and the emotions they put when they sing.
Elvis was always joking before a take, but when he start singing, he was suddenly another person.
I really love this song because The lyrics are full of something we miss a great deal these days Hope. I dont like this actual montage between two takes (white suit and leather), the original version was the white suit only, but the sound was better on this YouTube clip. For the record, Elvis got throat pain when he sang that song, thats why his voice is more rough than usual.

Jacques Brel was one of the best French singer ever. Hes way of singing the song he wrote himself is unique, the power of the French language as never been that strong in any songs since. Except for Charles Aznavour of course. I find an English subtitle clip on YouTube, if I may advice, watch it once reading the lyrics in English, and a second time, just watch his face and body expression. By all means take the time to do it, you wont be disappointed.

Well this picture, got a funny and a sad history behind. Me and my best friend Nikola(when I say best, the kind of friend that will carry a body for you, without asking any questions) after a long and interesting evening with two strippers we didnt get laid but got two free ice cream from them at the end of a long long evening! Thats why we laugh so hard on this Ride-shot picture. Nikola passed away this may, he was 34. A part of me die along with him.

Thanks for your attention. I hope you've enjoyed my DID.

How to be next on the DID ?
Just post your name underneath. Prepare your script. Do not post it. I will randomly pick someone.
Sunday I will announce the person. You will post your script on Monday with all the blanks filled in. From any replies, you then pick out of personal choice who you would like to read about. Your choice. Then, keep the ball rolling . The recipient picks. One a week, every Monday. Lets see whats in your mind.
