Came across these two straps while digging through one of my old boxes. I think they might be Dirk 1st gen but not sure. If i remember correctly i got these around 2002-2004 time period. Both are 24mm shark w/ sewn in OP buckles. Just wanted to get some others input to confirm thats what these are. Thanks for the help and sorry for such crappy pix.

Maybe within the last year or so.

I have an older dirk strap with the incursore stamp, but dirk buckle.

Tough to figure out.

Both straps look like Dirk's to me. stitching looks to me to be genuine Dirk from the earlier series which had the Panerai stitching. The strap with the yellow stitching may be a newer Dirk from after he switched the stamping. About the time the PAM000 and 005 came out Dirk was no longer able to use the original Panerai stampings and the buckles. That's when he switched to the Incursore/Seawaterproof/5218 wording. The stamping on the buckle for the strap with yellow stitching is different from the other. I have Dirk straps that have buckles that appear to match with both styles. In particular the PVD buckle I have matches the buckle on your strap with the yellow stitch and **** buckle I have matches the other strap. The strap with matching stitch looks like it was made like a Dirk "deluxe" with the groove in the leather between the stitch and outer edge. The only thing that seems odd to me that you have a strap with the newer wording and the older buckle.

I recently had a Pre-V OEM, a Dirk 1st gen, and a second gen. You can see in the photo below how the logo on the OEM and 1st gen are not as tall as the second gen. Also, the finish is better on the them - it's smoother on the logo engraving and on the square cutout. The second gen looks more hastily done.

Pre-V OEM - black
1st gen - shark
2nd gen - brown
