You should get on this immediatelyI was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch. It is really beautiful but I've been trying to rationalize to myself all the reasons I shouldn't get it. I really don't need it, and was going to get a 43 mm Rolex sea dweller next month which I will have to put on hold if I get this. The 687 is really beautiful and unique. Once I saw the hidden book in the hidden compartment, I almost wanted to buy it just to get the book lol. I have until tomorrow to buy. What do you guys think of the 687? I already have a 719 and a 217 but don't have a Radiomir, though I'm not sure I have to have one. Anyway, any advice? Pics below

I used to own a PAM356, but tired of the faux patina markers and numbers quite quickly. The dial of the 687 is entirely made up of faux patina, thus it doesn't float my particular boat. Also, down the road, I suspect your resale would be much easier and worthwhile with the Rolex, should you want to sell on.I was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch. Does this PAM really sing to you, or would you be buying it for the wrong reasons? If you told me that you absolutely loved it on your wrist and you can't stop thinking about it, I would say "go for it." But if you have to ask other people's opinions, then you are trying to talk yourself into it...and truth be told, with a novelty PAM like this, you could tire of it quicker unless you are really bought into it...did they have a 685 as well?I was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch. Your not sold and you will wind up regretting it. Plus my two cents is that the Rolex is the better purchase.I was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch. It might have made the decision easier. And I think your right, I'm not sold on it but I don't want to make a decision to pass on it that I may regret later.Does this PAM really sing to you, or would you be buying it for the wrong reasons? Definitely a 1st world problem.I used to own a PAM356, but tired of the faux patina markers and numbers quite quickly. The dial of the 687 is entirely made up of faux patina, thus it doesn't float my particular boat. Just my 2c, of course - what a pleasant dilemma!'
Thank you- you've captured the dial beautifully. I found it difficult to capture the beauty of the dial with my iPhone pics in the store.I bought mine a couple months ago and absolutely love it. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it
Here's a picture of mine
I have 1 luminor and 1 Rad and the rads are gorgeous. I am also going to get the 43 Sea Dweller as I am #1!on my ADs waiting list for it's it's a tough call. If you can not get both then go with whatever moves you most. The Rad is a special edition, the Sea Dweller will be very collectible if they only make it this year but we dont know that yet so you really gotta go with what you think you will appreciate moreI was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch. The 687 doesn't sing to me. If you are looking for a Radiomir, there are far better options at that price range or cheaper. To name a few in my order of preference: 249, 190, 232 to name a few. Getting a 249 might be a bit tougher than the other two. Not to mention, 721 and 722 will be released soon and I'd choose the 721 over 687. I was offered a 685 two weeks ago and I never even asked to be on the waitlist for the watch. I can think of one other person who bought a 685 and immediately turned around and put it in the market.I was invited to purchase a 687 unexpectedly today, and went to see the watch.
