I do not think the buckle in picture 2 is a real OEM Panerai screw in buckle.

Panerai does not make 24mm screw in buckles, and if the strap was 24 mm and the lug bars of the screw are showing the strap is either wrong or the buckle is not correct.

If the strap is 24/22 mms wide then it can be a Gen buckle but that would mean that the strap tapers to 21mms from 24.

Can you post a picture of the back of the buckle?

- I purchased the buckle from here in P.com about half a year ago, and advised the buckle was produced early 2000
- Since screw was not tightly fitted, thus the seller sent me another one. The original screw that I received with the buckle is shown in right side of the picture
- (1) is 24mm buckle and it is engraved with PRN1. (2)is OEM buckle of my 416 which is 22mm and engraved with PRP1
- I measured the strap and it is 24mm(lug-side) and 23mm(buckle-side). This is why it has buckle isn't tightly fitted to the strap

Anyone please judge me the authenticity of the buckle?
Thanks
