multiple failed blast transfers

What else can I check for? I have done immunology testing with Dr. Beer's office. They gave me a protocol to try which I did, and still no BFP. I am not sure what other tests I can try? Is there anyone on this board who had multiple failures and then did something that helped them become successful? I just don't know what else to test for.

negative for immune issues, I kept getting chemicals. They decided to treat as though I had them. I used long term prednisone, Lovenox, Folgard 2.2, lexapro, embryo glue, acupuncture before and after transfer. What did they have you on? What did you test positive for? What was your lining before transfer? I know that have a new test for embryos that is quite effective? Could there be uterine issues? Do you still have your tubes?

I am do sorry. Lets see what we can do to help you.

I think it's often the sperm.
We needed 16 embryos from 5 donors before we had success. We still don't know if it was because of the immune treatments or the fact that we transferred embryos from both donor sperm and my DH's sperm.

I just wanted to say I am sorry things did not work out. It is such a hard process all around.

No, they have been negative each time. I started Lovenox on CD6. I have been on Folgard 2.2, and I did acupuncture before and after transfer. I didn't do lexapro. I checked my serotonin levels and they said that since my serotonin was around 200, there was no need for the lexapro. Why did they have you on the lexapro?

My lining is on the thin side - around 6mm, so that may be the main issue, but I have tried everything to increase the lining. I have tried Viagra, estrogen supplementation, and terbutaline.

What is the new test for embryo quality?

I don't have my tubes - they were hydrosalpinx so I had to remove them.

When you say you were on long term prednisone - how much and how long?

If all the eggs fertilized and I had a good percentage go to blast, would there really be a sperm issue?

I just had the doc do a complete immune panel. Test for NK cells and cetokines also. I'm sorry that this keeps happening, I'm not an expert but you need to get this immune panel done just a week before you transfer. It worked for me. I never knew I had nk cells they popped up one week before transfer. But I think I always had them. Good luck

thickness. I got the idea from Adriane, who got it from Dr. Beer. It is also documented in Dr. Beer's book. I had another doctor prescribe. I started taking it about a month before the cycle and I continued it until I was 4 weeks. I took 10 mg of Prednisone to suppress my immune system so my body would not reject the embryos. I started two weeks before the cycle begin and will continue until 12 weeks and then wean off.

I believe the newest testing aCGH. Here is a link:http://www.invitrogen.com/site/us/en/ho ... 7830724020

Has you Dh been tested for sperm DNA fragmentation? Did you use ICSI? Have you had the implantation failure panel?

If an embryo doesn't inherit a chromosome that it should, it usually won't implant, and if it does implant, it will usually not last long. You can Google 'Chromosome monosomy.' Sperm isn't really proven until a baby is born or at least a healthy fetus results from the embryo.

I hope you find a solution.
