We are excited- cautiously optimistic - my lining was a 6 as always but we had implantation with a 6 last time so hopefully we will this time. I plan to stay on PIO the whole time since last time my beta stoped rising normally after I switched to suppositories and my RE doesn't check levels after that. May have not had anything to do with it but just to make me feel bette. We are going with a SET again- we have "great looking blasts" so we feel more comfortable with that. Start PIO tonight- will keep you updated!

I remember your previous experience. I hope things will go better with staying on the PIO. My clinic only uses the PIO, and I was on it until week 12. It's a pain in the rear (literally), but so worth it. Keep us posted, please!

your really great blast becomes a really great baby. I stayed on PIO the whole time as well. I felt really uncomfortable switching to suppositories since I had finally gotten the swing of things with the injections. My clinic doesn't check progesterone after the initial testing, and neither does my OB's office, so I just felt better sticking with the PIO, and knowing that my levels should be consistent. Of course, then I worried about whether my body kicked into gear and whether I was producing adequate hormones. One of the doc's at the OB's office actually talked me down and assured me that although they don't check, it is well documented that assisted hormonal therapy is only needed through the 10th week, but that women are given those extra 2 weeks typically so that there is a good deal of overlap.

We'll be thinking of you on Tuesday!
