Started trying at age 43 with OE. 3 OE ivfs plus 3 DE ivfs and 6 miscarriages, finally gave birth to donor embryo boy/girl twins at age 46.

After 24 cycles, I finally succeeded with donor embryos and have two year old boy/girl twins.

I am 47 starting this process, my clinic has selected to good DE matchs. One is proven 27 and one is unproven 22. How did you decide on DE?

Did you use DE? What do you say to people when they ask about the father or to the children? I know their are books. Strangers just say that I am a single mom, leave it at that.

I started this journey to motherhood as a married woman.... now widowed and continuing to reach for my dream...

and single. It was either do it now single or keep leaving my life on hold. I'm in 3rd trimester. No regrets. I really don't have a lot of people asking me ?'s. Maybe just b/c of my personality, they see a barrier and don't cross it. If you want to be a mom, I say go for it!

Good Luck.

to explain anything to anyone. You'll be surprised how folks won't want to get themselves in "trouble".
