His agent, via the express reckons top clubs are gunning for him. Seems our cult hero could be gone within 2 month. He's apparently keen to move up to the PL. And when an agent opens him mouth publicly, whilst predictably affirming the players focus on his current employers situation, let's be honest it usually means one thing. The jansson cult brigade might be feeling a tad stupid come summer. Another reason why I refuse to partake in modern player worship.

Thought we had the option to sign him for £3 million at the end of the season ? If so, sign him and then sell him if he doesn't want to be here. He probably won't be good enough for the Premier League in fairness. It's a bit different to playing against 2nd rate cast offs in the Championship every week.

Agree lad. He's getting booked every week at this level, he'll never play in the top flight cos he'll be forever suspended.

Jannson has transformed our season without him we wouldnt be in the position we are...we have no ambition as a club that is why time and again our best players leave hence no stability..All that shite about signing Jannson done deal is all bollocks. One player doesnt make a team but our defensive record since he came says it all. He's a passionate player and i'm all for that.Taylor Bartley Jannson will all probably leave if we dont make the prem. The worry is who will be left at the club if we dont get promoted and that includes the manager.

I agree with that, his relationship with Bartley has been pivotal to our position,we leaked goals last year and even Cooper looks more comfortable these days. We've always loved players who get stuck in Norm,Billy and Batty to name 3 there's plenty of passion on the terraces so its good to see that it passes to the players and its not just a job for them on the field. As far as bookings Bartley and Ayling are'nt far behind, good in my opinion they get stuck in, bad from the missing games view. I'm worried that if we lose 3 of 4 defenders as Steak rightly suggests and Wood to Blunderland to plug the Defoe gap we might be mid/lower table for some time to come
