THE FRANCHISE RETURNS!!!!!!
That's right, the Franchise himself, Shane Douglas, makes his return to RWA at Fury 3! The star of the upcoming sure-to-be cult classic, "Wrestlers vs. Zombies" will make his presence known for the first time since last September! This is huge news and the perfect way for us to kick off the 2012 season!! What will the Franchise have to say?? Will he still have his vengeful eye on the Feelbad 5? Will he impact any of the matches and if so, how?? Read on through each of our scheduled matches and take a guess!

With the already historic Uprising 4 in the books, the RWA is ready to roll FULL STEAM AHEAD into its fourth year of operation! We start off with a boatload of fury from the RWA roster, who are willing to do anything to get things started with a big win!

LOSER LEAVES RWA!
RWA Heavyweight Championship
ASHTON AMHERST w/ DR. FEELBAD (challenger) vs. "The Future" CALVIN McGRATH (champion)
It was almost inevitable if you look back on the past couple months. Alas, Ashton Amherst as a rule-abiding fan favorite was just too good to be true. In his tag team title defense, Amherst betrayed his partner Stryder and practically handed the titles back to the Feelbad 5! Meanwhile, that same night, Calvin McGrath unleashed his wrath on HIS former partner, Shane Valentine. The win was a vindication of his title reign and now has the champion set to make a huge impact in 2012. His celebration was cut short, when Amherst laid down a massive challenge! He asked for his heavyweight title rematch....if the loser leaves RWA for the rest of their contract!! We all know that Calvin McGrath never backs down from a challenge... but the possibility of cutting out the Feelbad 5's top member is an even sweeter deal. Also, he cannot lose both his belt and his contract. No matter what, though, we will see someone be forced from the RWA roster for a lengthy duration. Who will emerge as the heavyweight champion...and who will be sent packing???

BATTLE OF THE SEXES!
1st Ever RWA Intergender Match - RWA Pennsylvania Regional Champion "Simply the Best" RYAN EDMONDS w/ DR. FEELBAD vs. ANGEL
Sickening can describe it. Gut-wrenching could as well. The most appropriate term for the back-story is quite simply "disrespectful". In a world that is much more equal than it was only 50 years ago, Ryan Edmonds stands as someone who is mentally and socially stuck in the past. To him, black people are inferior. To him, women are meant to be loyal and obedient. To him, any person who is not just like him is meant to be looked down upon! No one has lived with this ignorant attitude as much as the beautiful Angel has. For the past 6 months, she has experienced physical & verbal antics from her gold-belted boyfriend, even to the point where even Dr. Feelbad has had enough! He refused for this match to happen, almost getting into a fistfight with the Feelbad 5 member. However, the newly defiant Angel spoke up and accepted the match herself! This match is the first official Battle of the Sexes in RWA, with Angel not even being a trained competitor! Hopefully, osmosis from living & being with "the best" has given her some soft skills. Who knows what will go down? Who has Feelbad's support? Will Lamont Williams or any other enemy of Edmonds' make an appearance? Find out on Feb 18!!
-- IMPORTANT UPDATE -- Since our last update, we have learned that this match will actually be contested for the RWA Pennsylvania Regional Championship!!! Could we see the end of Ryan Edmonds' stranglehold on the belt this coming Feb 18??

GUARANTEED NEW CHAMPIONS!
Four-Way Tag Team Match for the vacant RWA Tag Team Championship - RWA Cruiserweight Champion JAY-ICE & ??? vs. G-RaVeR & ??? vs. LAMONT "Action" WILLIAMS &"New Genesis" CHRISTOPHER ARCADIAN vs. TBD
Last month, we saw the tag team titles return to the Feelbad 5 in the form of "Big Homie" Jon Burton & Ryan Reign. Unfortunately, due to contractual reasons, Mr. Reign has parted ways with the RWA. Rather than ignoring this setback and slapping the tag belts on another F5 member, Dr. Feelbad has deemed the title vacant. The result is a HUGE 4-way tag match! The previously announced match of Jay-Ice vs. G-RaVeR with mystery partners will now be joined by two other tag teams looking for greatness. At press time, we can only confirm one of those teams to be Lamont Williams & Chris Arcadian - an interesting combo to say the least. Will the announcement of Shane Douglas also have ramifications on this contest? Find out only on February 18 and witness the crowning of new RWA Tag Team Champions!!

Special Challenge Match
"Showtime" TERRY RING vs. CHRIS TAYLOR
Never say that Renegade Wrestling Alliance hasn't had its fair share of honest-to-goodness renegades & rebels. Terry Ring is the absolute epitome of that lifestyle. Running into the RWA Arena and ruining a match, this ingrate made himself known as someone who is above the standard bearer of Pittsburgh wrestling. He believes that despite his young age, he deserves to be revered for his sheer talent. Everyone inside the wrestling business knows that you have to EARN that attitude and respect, if there is to be any hope to advance in one's path to greatness. Chris Taylor, a Pittsburgh wrestling staple of over 10 years, has stepped up to this young upstart and will face him in this contest. If Terry Ring is victorious, he will be awarded an RWA contract....if he even wants it, of course. This is the perfect clash of generations!

One-on-One Match
"Steel City Prodigy" RYAN MITCHELL vs. "Mr. Riot, Ruckus, & Rock" JOSEPH BROOKS w/ DR. FEELBAD
It's hard to imagine how high Ryan Mitchell must feel. On January 21, he had the match of a lifetime, hands down the greatest match in RWA's three year history. The DVD is selling fast, the reviews are pouring in, and we can gamble some money that that match opened some more eyes in the Steel City Prodigy's direction. He is indeed on a high note in his career and in his life. It would also be difficult to think of anyone who would be daring enough to take on a man who defeated the giant Shane Taylor...unless of course, you look at Joseph Brooks. Easily the cockiest man Dr. Feelbad has ever employed, Brooks just lost the Cruiserweight title last month after a very strong 6 month title reign. The champion talks big words and always backed them up. His arrogance is natural, because he is so fantastic in the ring. Now, with everyone's attention on Mitchell, Joe Brooks looks to embarrass him and claim all of that glory for himself. In any case, what we have here are two amazing athletes that are in the hunt for another big win in their record. This one may not have the big-time feel that Mitchell/Taylor had last month, but there is no doubt that these two men will be out there to make this the match of the night!

Five Star Classic
Without a single doubt, the main event match of Ryan Mitchell vs. Shane Taylor from last month's RWA Uprising 4 is the talk of the town! Words cannot describe the feeling felt from the crowd as Mitchell & Taylor pounded into each other for the epic finale of their feud!

No More 24/7
If you checked out Jay-Ice's message the new champion has now stricken the 24/7 defense rule from the title. He cited his reason as preventing the title from "becoming meaningless"....the irony in that statement speaks for itself!! Still, if this prevents future opportunistic title wins like Joseph Brooks' and Jay-Ice's, then this announcement may suddenly make the belt even better than its been!!

--

Uprising 4 marked the largest turn-out of RWA's 3rd year! No one left disappointed, after an incredible showcase of Pittsburgh's best wrestlers! THANK YOU to all the RWA Family for supporting us and helping us achieve #1 in Pittsburgh!!! You're the reason we exist and we shall continue to do so because of you! Here's looking forward to another awesome year!

That explanation for making the tag titles vacant makes no sense. Where is Stryder?

Bad information. You are trying to feed bad spolers for RWA show by saying Amhurst is leaving. McGrath is losing the loser leaves town match not Amhurst. So, I doubt your other info is good either. These posts will start to all boarder on lies and stuff that should be deleted now in the spirit of not ruining the RWA show.

Anyone wondering how this is going to play out??? How are the boys like Ashton, McGrath, Mitchell, Taylor(S) both shane and chris, Ryan Reign, Jon Burton, Stryder...ect.. how are they going to be able to work both shows? Inside word says that Feelbad said that anyone who isn't back in time for their matches, won't be welcome back in good old west newton. Yeah, feelbad is sticking on the fact that Shane Douglas will be there, but thats just to shill donations for his movie.. this saturday is gonna be fun.

Ashton, Reign, Burton, and Stryder are gone from RWA.

Mitchell will stay with Feelbad and his boyfriend Chris will stay with him. Don't even try to knock him because if you were dating someone, you'd stay with them too.

Shane Taylor and McGrath will probably also stay at RWA. Feelbad will pay them a lot more.

Shane Douglas is not a draw anymore so who cares?
