Remix Pro Wrestling
Throwdown for the Pound 3
Saturday, April 2, 2011
Marietta Middle School
Marietta, Ohio

Ring Announcer - Adam Montgomery
Host - Kenny Young
Referees - Brian Gorie, Drew Taylor, Tony Wolfe
Commentators - Joe Dombrowski and Chris Kahn

Canadian Idol (w/ Molly Hatchet) defeated "Showtime" Terry Ring to win a contract with Remix Pro Wrestling. During the match, the Idol's mask was removed to reveal it was Dirk Extreme. After the match, Adam Johnson informed him that the contract he won was to be a camera man.

Nasty South ("Last Rebel" Bryan Cross and Trik Nasty ) defeated the ShiiMega Powers (Shiima Xion and "Omega" Aaron Draven).

Viper (w/ Mickie Knuckles) defeated Mad Man Pondo (sub for Tracy Smothers) (w/ Jessie Belle).

Zach Gowen and Zac Vincent went to a no contest when Cole Cash interfered, attacked both men and revealed himself as a member of the Anti-Heroes.

ASW X-Division Champion Facade defeated Jimmy Wang Yang.

The Anti-Heroes (TJ Phillips and Chance Prophet) defeated The Murder Junkies (Juggulator and Sam Hane) when co-owner of Remix Pro Wrestling Sam Smith revealed himself as a member of the Anti-Heroes and distracted the Juggulator.

Madison Rayne defeated Sara Del Rey. Rayne attempted to escape to the dressing room during the match but was chased back to ringside by Mickie James.

Attendance - Floor and bleachers were all full, it appeared to be about 600. The crowd was ridiculously hot all night and was into everything.

Best Matches - Nasty South/ShiiMega Powers and Rayne/Del Rey were the two best matches, but Anti-Heroes/Murder Junkies, Gowen/Vincent and Facade/Yang were all very good as well. Not a bad match on the show.

Overall - A great showing from one of the best things going in the area right now. A very good draw, impressive production and a solid group of talent made this one of the best shows of the year.

Mickie James couldnt compete because of a seperated shoulder but still made the trip, Madison Rayne took her place against Sara Del Ray. Matt Cross couldn't attend because of his involvment with Tough Enough, he was replaced with Jimmy Wang Yang. Tracy Smothers was unable to attend because of personal reasons, he was replaced with Mad Man Pondo. Thats wrestling, unfortunately things happen.

Someone just asked something, don't have to get crazy, and let your product speak for its self, you don't have to put it over, let it put it over. If others were to do some storylines like RPW, they would get so much heat it's not funny! But that's the 'game' these days.

you people all are marks, go look at the card, if pondo took smothers place, then why did he wrestle viper, you think that they really wanted smmothers to work viper at first, he was never booked to start with, and what happened to his daughter, shes over 18, she can go to a show without her dad, mickie james was professinal bout the whole thing, and they did the best with what they had, but i saw a poster, and jimmy wang yang and i dont think gowen was on the poster, and there posters look terrible, but im glad to see them draw 600, i dont see how they did it
