Proof:
God is not man. (Hosea 11:9)
Christ is a man. (John 8:40)
Therefore Christ is not God.

God is not man. (Hosea 11:9) - does not talk specifically about Jesus so you can not specifically relate that verse to Jesus alone. No Trinitarian has ever claimed that God is a man, although one of the persons who is God did come in the flesh to bring us salvation.

Christ is a man. (John 8:40) Have you ever heard a Trinitarian deny that Christ is a man? Of course not so do not misrepresent the beliefs of Trinitarians. Trinitarians believe that Christ is 100% man and 100% God. It's your own fault if you want to ignore the verses that prove that Jesus is God in the flesh. You might want to read John Chapter 1 in it's entirety, not just the little snippets that INC tells you.

It just stated the situation at the time Hosea wrote about it. At that time God was not a man. Whether he became a man later, is speculative. The Bible neither proves it nor disproves it.

Thomas is just classic troll, he asserts contrary or skepticism to all people involve and never provide a positive case for Thomas position. If he never provide positive case he just like the argument clinic guy in old monty python skit.
It best to just ignore people like that.

Now real business.

As for you argument you have assumption about man and God.
You unstated assumptions are 1) God cannot take on flesh 2) Man is not also dual nature of flesh and spirit

Does INC reject man having everlasting soul/spirit? All their argument about Christ being man seem imply one nature of man only apart from spirit/soul.

I think INC believe #1. It would be easy to believe if not for entire New Testament revelation. It is odd how much INC is like Muslims and how they reject new testament.

I would also love to know the answer to this question from INC fanaticals....

Is your god OMNIPOTENT? Do you believe that God could become a man if He chose to?

Surely, if you believe God can not become a man then you have a false god. If you believe God can become a man if He chooses, then you have to admit the possibility that the trinitarian belief could be true.

So, which one is it?

Good argument, God is omnipotent, so he can become a man if he wants to.
