Call me crazy but this was one of my bucket list dreams when I was hoping to have a baby, if it was a girl. I don't know why I need to fulfill them all but my DD will be 4 this summer and I still haven't done this and time is running out! She's already getting picky about her wardrobe. I figured a nice one for Easter would honor my craving. Any suggestions on where to buy?

Hi! Did you also have an ID that was Alli2009? If that's you, then I see that you've got a second ID, and it just helps me stay on top if everyone has just one ID. It's fine if you forgot your pw and needed a new ID. I don't have pw info and I'll just delete the old ID if you can't use it anymore.

Try Gymboree...

There was one dress from the Ice Cream Social line (I think) that I got for DD. If you like that one - you'll need to check eBay but you can buy it brand new....

You could probably check other lines.

I did a quick search but I really don't know what this is.  I'm curious now though especially since I have Miss A.

I am the opposite of a fashionista, so I have no idea what this is either!

Smocking is a type of stich (w/ pleats) often on a collar or sleeve. A bishop dress is the cut and style of the fabric.

Not to be confused with another dress I'd love to have my daughter wear - the cherry easter dress:

DD is already picky re clothes - likes black - so I will have to "sell" these dresses to her. At least she likes dresses now - she didn't 8 mos ago!

For the most part, DD wears inexpensive play clothes or once worn from her older friend Charlotte. But every now and then I get an image in my mind and think I want to see DD in something specific for an event or picture moment.

DD has good taste though so DH is worried . . .

I had never heard of a smocked bishop dress, and lo and behold, I received an e-mail about a sale on them! Good luck!

Not for Easter, but a summer dress...

I tried to get them last year, but I couldn't justify spending $25-$35 for a pillow sheet and some ribbons!

Maybe I will this year since she's not growing so quickly!

A seller was selling this brand pillow dress on eBay and I had to find out more about it. (Good way to check prices...)

Realized that they had a bunch of smocked bishop dresses for sale.

I think the spring ones are in the clearance section. I like the green bunny dress for Easter but out of stock. Boo!

Anyway - thought I'd pass it along..

And oh... I especially liked that they had smocked bishop short/capri sets. Not the same thing but if she's fighting dresses...
