Are there any lube mods to a C6 that I can make? It has a fixed(check balls) TCI transbrake, w/E4OD gear set, 5 red alto's in each pack(dir.,for.,rev.), 2 1/4" Kevlar rigid band, "R" servo, "E"lever, I've heard something about the direct hub for high rpm(8000)? Does anyone ever drill the OD of the forward hub or will it weaken it? Also while I'm at it should I use teflon coated pump gears and a wide rear housing bushing. I'm a machinist so that's not a problem. Mike

Any info would help. Not a reference to a trans shop.

That link may help. Not really any lube mods necessary. No bleed hole is required in the drum to stop centrifugal reply. The high reverse drum can have holes drilled around it though . I think it is mentioned in the link above a series of small holes . I recently built a transbrake C6 to Franks specs with his valvebody so looked into most of this myself. Few pics on page 2 http://www.429-460.com/transmission-tec ... -t2255.htm
