The pizza I am trying to recreate from Florence that I have mentioned here before. I used the frozen dough for the first time tonight. I taste no difference and it's more work than the can. I'll stick with the can, I think.

So do you think the canned or frozen dough is better than Boboli?

We had melt-in-your-mouth ham steaks. I had Spanish rice as my side. I threw in a creole tomato. There were only a few left at Matherne's. I found out a local grows them in a sort of semi greenhouse, but they are grown in the ground. Vidalias, blackberries, blueberries, creole tomatoes and fresh basil all coming soon. I'm so happy winter is done.

Looking forward to some local greenhouse creoles and some Ponchatoula strawberries at the Hammond store location.

I love pizza, too, but it's something I leave to the professionals. I love Mona Lisa in'na Quarters and Reginelli, the Magazine location. I tried the one in Kenner recently, and the crust wasn't nearly as good. Oh, and Nino's on Carrollton is anudder one of my faves.

Just kidding IM! LOL! Have fun at Berrytown. Pay no attn to me, I'm thrilled that I have this one day to work and then off for three. Friday I get to see my CopCop, Saturday will be a day of planting herbs and Sunday we're going to the MIL's for the most bestest turkey anywhere.

I had a crock pot meal. A Belgium Carbonnade style dish made with a turkey thigh, lots of onions, and Abita Turbodog. Not bad for what it was
