NY strip steak, canned sweet 'taters, and kale

I picked up the steaks (one each for me and Sonny Boy) Friday at Chappell Hill Sausage/Butcher in Chappell Hill, on the way back from Blue Bell. I could only eat half - the rest will be supper tomorrow night.

Whenever I utter the word "exercise" I will rinse my mouth with chocolate!

Did you or Sonny do that? Perfect level of doneness, too. Just like I like it. Mmmm, I do believe I could eat a steak everyday and never get tired of it.

Awfully good looking sweet potatoes for canned. I don't remember what brand, but I bought some a few months ago and they were absolutely inedible. I normally just "bake" a fresh one in the microwave. The small red ones that are almost always available around here are usually so good I don't even put butter on it.

the GF indoor/outdoor grill. It was done perfectly, too, and was very moist and juicy. The yams were Sugary Sam brand - which I really like. Doctored them up a tad w/ some brown sugar, ginger, and cinnamon.

So juicy. George does a good job. I like those side dishes, too.

That indoor/outdoor grill is the bomb. I love the one I bought.

I love that strip. I also love kale. It looks great, Ju, although I like my cow to moo a bit more.
I know you like it medium (not that there's anything wrong with that)
