hey guys im just wanting to know if the front dowel which locates the head to the block and also supplys oil feed to the headgear has any restriction in it or if its ment to have about a 3mm orifice to feed the oil.
i dont have the origonal to compare to so any help would be great
It is not a restricter, it only has a wall thickness of about .025"-.030", made of brass usually, if you use the one you have with a 3mm hole, you may starve the head of oil.
If the one you have fits in the to block nice and snug and slides into the head nice. (should normally stay in the block and not the head) just drill it out, you will need a little lathe to do this properly. It should also only need to be about 4mm of it protruding from the block when fitted, and have a small chamfer on it as well.
