I have a 1962 406HP motor and I dont need it. I was wondering if anybody knows what its worth. It is an early block and does not have cross bolted mains and was originally a solid lifter engine.I was looking for a 69 or late 68 date code 428CJ for my 69 mach1 and wanted to trade if possible. Located in Mass.

Has the motor been over bored or any damage? I'm restoring a 62 406 car and built a 416 short block with 406 heads and tripower. It would be nice to have a 62 406 block to be correct. Any info would be appreciated. You can email me at kmt406@comcast.net Thanks, Kevin Unfortunately, I don't have a 428 block. Would be looking at a cash deal.
