Oldskool's man choke set-up (good sec lever arm picture)

Ive been asking the pin contact with the secondary lever arm, but I found a good pic that illustrates how my set up is right now.
If you look at Oldskool'd pic of his maunal choke set-up in one of the recent threads, you can see that the pin does not contact either the lower or upper stop of the secondary lever arm (its very close to touching the middle however.
This is my question, should it be contacting the lever in the pic? (off or idle)

I just noticed that this very issue was discussed in detail in Feb 2011...including pics! So I think I got my answer, I need search the previous posts better next time. Thanks for a great site!

Ya, that photo was taken before I had a chance to adjust everything. At the time I was just glad to have a carb that worked.

Thanks to that thread and your recommendations, I bought the same choke conversion kit. But the kit did not come withinstuctions, so I have been using your pic to help me with the installation....plus its just really cool! got more?
