One of the better London events in years. Water quality is better this time of year than late summer which was an issue previously. GWN was their supplier so can't go wrong there. 50 plus teams with lots of community support. Not much on competition out of Toronto. Mostly London, University, Stratford, BCS teams. Great to see the Challenge Cup Trophies. Ran ahead of schedule. Good job by the Rowbust team putting on the event!

+
Great event
Good view of race course
Fair Lanes (Course is definitely better than years prior)
Plenty of shuttles in the morning
Good Vendors
Thanks to volunteers offering to drive the drivers to their cars to pick up people

-
Wish parking was within walking distance though (but considering the construction at Fanshawe it's understandable)
2 bus's in the afternoon was brutal - +30 minute waits was not fun.

From the entire Rowbust Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing Team, we would like to Thank all who participated in our 1st annual Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival!

If you weren't there......come on out next year!!! Date to be announced soon!

GWN as always is wonderful to work with, our vendors did well with a great variety of items.

We couldn't have done it without our wonderful Sponsors, Volunteers, Rowbust members and family, spectators and YOU....the paddlers and teams!!

As this was our very 1st event, there are things that we need to tweak.....and we will (like the shuttles at the end of the day!)but thank you all for being patient with us while we figured it out!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We look forward to doing even better next year!

The Rowbust team
