Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehewwww. That sucked pretty hard. Never seen the original, thought this looked pretty keen and enjoyed that Texas Chainsaw remake from a while back this studio did.

Visually, very nice. Looked way cool. And that does it for the pro column.

It isn't scary ever. Not even kind of sorta tense. Every non-scare is a jump scare, and as I've said those are kind of hard to fail at unless your audience is completely disinterested. Several people just walked out. I don't remember looking at my watch so much in a 90 minute flick. Pure shit.

The credits did make me chuckle tho.

Pretty much what I expected. Will wait till it goes to weekly at the DVD store.

Surprised you never saw the original. It may look a bit lame now, but for those of us who saw it as teenagers when it came out back in the day, it remains a favourite.

I'm sure it will look lame but I always liked these types of movies more for camp value then effects and what not. Still a good watch even if you don't have the nostalgia value I'd say.
