Nah, Koool. They don't taste like shit. They taste like soft peanuts with lots of salt on them. You eat them like you eat a roasted peanut, but it's a lot messier.

Ever had those little green soy beans with Japanese food? Edamame? Boiled peanuts are similar, but softer.

They taste nothing like edamame. Edamame has a nice fresh taste. Boiled peanuts are mushy and salty as hell. And just not any good at all. But try them for yourself, Kool. I'm pretty sure you can get a good sized bag for like a buck.

My Daddy use to make those. They are okay I guess. They tasted kinda soggy to me.

You've never had boiled peanuts that were cooked correctly.

Let's see, someone asks what boiled peanuts are like. Are they like a cheeseburger? Hm. No. Are they like doughnuts? Nope. Oh, I know, they're boiled in a shell and eaten with salt. Sort of like edamame? YES.

You guys do understand that boiled peanuts, in and of themselves, are not salty, right? You have to actually add salt so if someone asks "what do they taste like?" I wouldn't really include salty in the description because that's an option. I'm sure you could even add sugar, if you wanted. You know?

Bob has it right "eaten with salt"
