It's been a great season for linnets, great FA Cup run and huge improvement in the league. McNally has done a great job. Credit has to be given to Town for the superb season also, 2nd place finish at a minimum is a fantastic achievement. Good to see both clubs doing so well.

What a difference consistent squads have meant to both teams. Linnets for the first time since season 1 (goalkeeper aside...but they were just v.unlucky there) Town will finish 2nd with at least 10 players who played West Cheshire with them in the squad.

A Town win at Barnoldswick tomorrow and Linnets could be nailed on for 4th?

If Town fail to get promoted, I can see many of their players leaving.
Linnets also need to retain players, which will be difficult.
I cant see either Town or Linnets challenging next season.
